Good timing keeps captions comfortable.This workflow starts with the source video and listens for speech before creating cue timing. Use it when no subtitle file exists yet. If you already have SRT text and only need WebVTT, the SRT-to-VTT converter is the faster local tool because it does not transcribe the video again.
Automatic transcription can mishear names, accents, technical vocabulary, or speech under background noise. The generated cues open in the editor so you can compare them with the footage.
