Before you decide
Is there really no watermark on the free plan?
No watermark, on either plan. The free plan limits how many video projects you make each month (3), not how good they are. What you download is finished footage you can post as it is. Revised downloads of the same project share its monthly slot.
What happens when I use my free video projects?
The count resets at the start of each month. Until then you can still upload, transcribe, correct the words and style the captions. Revised downloads of projects already counted that month stay included. Upgrading to Starter raises the limit immediately.
What is the difference between Free and Starter?
Free gives you 3 video projects a month, with revised downloads included, at 1080P, videos up to 10 minutes and 500 MB per file, kept for 7 days. Starter gives you 200 exports at 4K, videos up to 120 minutes and 5 GB per file, kept for 90 days.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. Uploading, transcribing, correcting the transcript and styling the captions all work without one. An account is only needed to download the finished video, so you see your own footage captioned before deciding anything.
Can I cancel, and what happens to my videos?
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. After that you return to Free, and projects are kept for 7 days rather than 90.
How much is Starter billed annually?
$60 once a year, which works out at $5 a month, against $7 a month billed monthly. Both are the same plan and the same limits.
