The previous word leaves as the next spoken word enters, rather than showing a complete sentence and merely changing its highlight color. That distinction matters when you want every beat of the delivery to have its own visual moment.
The preview follows the transcript's individual word timestamps. Scrub to the fastest sentence and listen for words that appear early or late. A one-word treatment exposes timing drift quickly, so it is better to correct a weak section before adjusting font size, entrance speed, or color.
The starting preset uses large centered type, a pop entrance, and one word per line, but it remains editable. Adjust typography, color, outline, position, and motion while watching the actual composition. Keep the position stable enough that the viewer follows the speech instead of chasing text around the frame.
Single words need enough contrast over every shot and enough distance from platform controls. Test the caption against bright and dark frames, faces, product overlays, and camera cuts. For rapid speech, reducing visual motion can be more readable than making each word larger or more aggressive.
